Ride the "Buck Buggy"!

Take a "Buck Buggy" (4 person or 6 person) golf cart on an one and half hour long self-guided wildlife tour through the sanctuary.  Great wildlife viewing! 

• See Elk, Bison, Whitetail Deer, Dall sheep, and other native animals.
• The world's largest and complete set of record size elk antler sheds
• Deer educational exhibit.  Over 1,000 whitetail deer antler sheds
• Native American artifact display

Admission:  $9.00/person  $6.00/10 years old and younger.  2 years old and younger free.  Price includes golf cart rental.

(Closings may occur due to inclement weather or flooding of trails.)

No reservations required.  Groups of 20 or more reservations suggested.

April and May: "Springtime Adventure"

The animals are so excited that spring is here.  They have placed fun games and prizes along the trail for all the boys and girls.  The educational handout and map will guide you through the sanctuary.  As you adventure through the sanctuary you will see an abundance of wildlife while searching for adventure .  This program is the best affordable family fun and outdoor entertainment.

June and July: "Scavenger Hunt"                 

The baby animals have arrived.  This year we are expecting baby fox, "Stinker" the baby skunk, raccoons, porcupine, and whitetail fawns.  Mother wild animals do a good job at hiding their babies, so we have a treasure hunt for you.  The hand out and map will help you find your treasures along the trail.

August and Sept.: "Buffalo Times"       

Travel back in time when buffalo and Native people freely lived on these lands.  The information provided and the exhibits along the trail in addition to our new Native American artifact exhibit will connect you back to mother earth.  The deer and elk at this time of the year adorn their complete set of antlers in full velvet and are truly beautiful to view.  September is the start of the elk mating season and their bugle can be heard after September 12th. 

October and Nov. 1st: "The Rut Ride"       

"The Battle to Breed is Now".  The Deer, Elk and Buffalo are displaying their extreme behavioral changes in preparation for the mating season.   View the world's largest complete set of trophy Elk shed antlers, along with over one-thousand whitetail deer antlers.  Tour the deer and elk education center with many amazing and interesting deer items.
